Harvard Medical School
THE HEALTH PROFESSIONS RECRUITMENT & EXPOSURE PROGRAM (HPREP)
The Health Professions Recruitment & Exposure Program (HPREP) at Harvard Medical School is a high school science enrichment program aimed at recruiting high school students from the Boston area, particularly those from underserved and underrepresented backgrounds, into science and medicine. High school students participate in fun, interactive scientific lessons and workshops, as well as one-on-one mentoring.Â
Graduate and medical students can serve as mentors by working one-on-one with high school students to write personal statements and conduct a research project, as teachers by designing curricula and teaching or facilitating lectures and labs, or in program management capacities, and may also hold leadership positions within the organization.
Empow Studios
EMPOW’S LIVE VIRTUAL STEM SUMMER CAMP
Empow Live virtual STEM Summer Camp are project-based virtual camps that offer a supervised, small-group, interactive experience that combines fun and learning as well as teaches kids in grades 2-8 to code their own video games, engineering custom robots, filming original movies, creating digital artwork, and much more.

Programs are a week-long sessions that either offer a full day to half day of coding each day.
Tufts University
TUFTS RESEARCH EXPERIENCE - VIRTUAL
The Tufts Research Experience welcomes high school juniors and seniors with prior research experience to join them for a virtual (web-based) academic year research experience at Tufts under active mentorship by Tufts' world-class researchers and their teams. Students will learn about laboratory techniques, research methods, and data collection and analysis skills. Students will work with Tufts research laboratories, actively participating in the rigorous research activities conducted in them. By the end of the program, students will also have the opportunity to present their research findings in a virtual poster session.
